A background in Japanese art and culture until my teens. Inspiration as a child from European Impressionism until I was 12 years. People often say that my work is like a marriage between Eastern and Western art. I draw my inspiration from many things including nature and Buddhism, which contrary to popular belief has little to do with oriental thinking and more to do with Humanism.
